Our Irish made bookcovering is strong and durable, it is designed to protect against spills, wear and tear and will extend the life of book.

Covering options and the enviroment

We are in discussion with our covering materials supplier to reduce our use of plastic and increase the use of eco friendly products. We have sourced A4 paper covers and copy covers in paper, both sustainably produced in Ireland. We supply brown paper rolls which may be used to cover schoolbooks.

We make every possible effort to source second hand school books, while recognising that the rapidly changing Junior Cycle specifications may mean that second hand books may not yet be available

Our bags and boxes are recyclable.

We welcome suggestions to aid the transition to a more sustainable future.

Opening Minds have sold both new and second-hand schoolbooks since we were established in 1986.

We stock secondhand books in-store and online. Our online stock is quality controlled prior to dispatch and we believe that you will be happy with the quality of book, however if you feel the book does not meet your requirements we will be happy to accept it for refund.

Opening Minds takes in second-hand schoolbooks from mid June each year. We accept current editions, good quality textbooks at any of our branches or our warehouse in Ashbourne.

Opening Minds accepts payment by Visa, Master Card, Visa Debit and Laser Cards.
