If anything, Othello has increased its stature as one of Shakespeare's greatest tragedies ever since it was first written, between 1603 and 1604, due to the victimisation suffered by its tragic hero, Othello, as a result of his skin colour. Othello is a noble Moor, a North African Muslim who has converted to Christianity and is deemed one of the Venetian state's most reliable soldiers. However, his ensign Iago harbours an obscure hatred against his general, and when Othello secretly marries the beautiful daughter of the Venetian senator Brabanzio, Iago begins his subtle campaign of vilification, which will inevitably lead to the deaths of more than just Othello and Desdemona.

Opening Minds cover schoolbooks in a clear durable plastic cover. Every book is covered individually by hand and each cover is sized to suit the individual book.
Our Irish made bookcovering is strong and durable, it is designed to protect against spills, wear and tear and will extend the life of book.

openingminds.ie have partnered with DPD to deliver your order within Ireland
Delivery rates to Ireland are as follows:
- 1 book / item €3.95
- 2 books / items €4.95
- 3 books / items €5.95
- 4 books / items €6.95
- 6+ books / items €7.50
When you order online and select to have your order delivered it will be dispatched by DPD on a next day service Monday - Friday. Our normal turnaround on orders is 3 - 5 days ( 8 - 12 days in July / August) and you will receive an email confirming your goods have left the Opening Minds warehouse and have been collected by DPD.
A separate email will be sent by DPD confirming your tracking number and you can track your delivery online @ www.dpd.ie.
Collection Network

To make collection of your order easy this year Opening Minds have partnered with local retail outlets throughout Ireland.
We have almost 200 collection points from where you can collect your order. Simply select your local collection point prior to checkout.
Please note that the maximum delivery charge is 3.95 when you opt to collect from one of our collection points.
Once your order is ready for dispatch from our warehouse you will receive an email advising that it has left. All queries with regard to your order should be directed to Opening Minds at 01 8353411.

To avail of this service simply select your nearest Parcel Motel at checkout.
Opening Minds will then dispatch your order to the Parcel Motel you have selected.
Parcel Motel will send you a text with your unique secure PIN number when your order arrives at your selected Parcel Motel.
Your order is now ready for collection at Parcel Motel. Simply key in your phone number followed by the PIN number and the door will open for you.
Your order must be collected within 48 hours of receiving the PIN number.

Second-Hand Books

Opening Minds have sold both new and second-hand schoolbooks since we were established in 1986.
We stock secondhand books in-store and online. Our online stock is quality controlled prior to dispatch and we believe that you will be happy with the quality of book, however if you feel the book does not meet your requirements we will be happy to accept it for refund.
Opening Minds are now purchasing second-hand schoolbooks. We accept current edition, good quality textbooks at any of our branches or our warehouse in Ashbourne.
